We launched our online Community Input Survey in early April to better understand the real and pressing concerns the COVID-19 health pandemic has caused. We also wanted to not lose sight of the brighter future we hope to create for our county and asked for feedback on priority County service areas and neighborhood issues.
You will find the key results of the survey here from over 150 participants who completed it through May 31. Some key takeaways include:
To date, it is clear that the overarching concern for community safety is for our health and that of our family and neighbors in light of the current health pandemic.
It is also certain that District 22 citizens envision a future for our neighborhoods with safer, bikeable, walkable routes, and high-functioning roadway options connecting us as our community continues to grow.
And, it’s also clear that District 22 residents think beyond our own immediate neighborhood concerns and see the positive impacts that affordable housing and better public transportation will have on the county as a whole.
Please take the time to review the findings yourself. Do they resonate with you? Do you agree or disagree with these emerging priorities? Please send us feedback.
Let’s do this. #togethergvl
